Bluewater Awarded MOH Certification In China

Bluewater has been awarded product certification in China for its Spirit and Pro water purifiers that have the company's unique SuperiorOsmosis technology that reduces the water wastage normally associated with traditional reverse osmosis systems. Required for all foreign manufacturers of residential water treatment units, China’s MOH certificate is awarded by the Ministry of Health and is considered one of the most demanding when it comes to meeting qualification and product testing standards.

Ggaining MOH approval involve the submission of:

  • Wetted parts list;
  • Schematics;
  • Literature;
  • Product information; and
  • Supporting testing data or approvals, such as NSF certification.

Bluewater’s water purifierss such as the Spirit and Pro series that boast Bluewater’s unique second-generation reverse osmosis SuperiorOsmosis technology were required to undergo tough testing, involving material safety, functionality and hygienic testing aimed at protecting Chinese consumers against products that do not deliver on manufacturer claims. MOH testing is carried out by an approved laboratory in China and upon successful completion of testing, the test results and all other product information is submitted to an expert committee who issues the recommendation for MOH approval.
